Raha Technologies โ Commission Payment Terms & Conditions for Agents & Referrers
Why This Policy Exists
Raha Technologies follows Indian tax laws for all payments made to agents, lead generators, or student referrers. This policy ensures transparency, legal compliance, and prevention of tax fraud.
1. Mandatory PAN Submission
What is PAN?
PAN (Permanent Account Number) is a 10-digit alphanumeric tax identification number issued by the Government of India.
When Do We Ask for PAN?
You must provide a valid PAN card if:
- You earn more than โน10,000 in commission in a single month, OR
- You are expected to earn more than โน15,000 in total commission in the financial year (AprilโMarch).
How Do You Submit PAN?
- Upload a clear PAN card copy during onboarding or before receiving commission.
- PAN must be verified by our system.
- No PAN = No future payments.
2. TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) Deduction
What is TDS?
TDS is a small portion (5%) we must deduct from your commission and deposit with the government on your behalf.
Legal Rule:
Section 194H of the Income Tax Act says TDS is mandatory if a person earns more than โน15,000/year as commission.
If PAN is not provided, TDS rate increases to 20%.

You must provide PAN and accept TDS for payments above โน10,000/month.
4. Bank or Cash โ Same Rules Apply
Whether we pay you through:
Bank Transfer
Cash
UPI
You still need to provide PAN, and TDS will be deducted.
Example:
- Student pays cash: โน1.5 lakh
- Agent commission: โน20,000
- Agent has no PAN
We cannot pay you until PAN is provided, and 5% TDS is deducted.
If PAN is missing, 20% TDS is mandatory (i.e., โน4,000 deducted).
5. What Happens If You Donโt Cooperate

6. Our Compliance Procedure (Behind the Scenes)
We maintain a secure Commission Ledger with:
- Agent name
- PAN details
- Commission earned
- TDS deducted
- Payment mode & date
We also:
- File quarterly TDS returns to the government
- Send you Form 16A (TDS certificate) by email every quarter
Important Note for All Agents
PAN + TDS is 100% mandatory for commission above โน10,000/month or โน15,000/year.
If not followed, your payouts will be held back until you submit valid documents.
7. Referral, Lead Generation & Reward Payment Policies
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Raha Technologies maintains zero tolerance toward fraudulent activities in referral programs or lead generation systems.
All users, agents, and students participating in these programs must comply with the following rules and verification systems. Any violation may lead to suspension, ban, or legal prosecution under Indian cybercrime, contract law, and fraud prevention statutes.
7.1 Student Referral Program & Eligibility

Objective: To reward genuine, value-adding referrals while maintaining academic and ethical integrity.

Rules:
- No self-referrals, family, or household members allowed.
- Referrals must be submitted via official platform or referral code before enrolment.
- Referrer can earn maximum 10 referral rewards per academic year (capped to prevent abuse).
Example โ Valid Referral:
Raj, a Full Stack student, refers his college friend who pays full fee and completes 60% of the course โ Raj receives โน1,000 reward.
Example โ Invalid Referral:
Riya refers her cousin who later cancels within 1 month โ No reward issued; warning sent to Riya.

Penalty Structure:
- First Offense: Reward revoked, warning email issued
- Second Offense: Account suspended for 30 days
- Third Offense: Permanent Ban + Legal Notice + โน10,000 fine
Example โ Misuse Case:
Student refers 4 fake emails, claims โน4,000, then they cancel โ Fraud detected, account banned and fined.
9.2 Agent /Lead Coordinator / Lead Generation Rules & Payment Conditions
7.2.1
What is Lead Generation?
Lead generators (Agents / Lead Coordinator) provide contacts of potential students. If those leads convert into paying students, a commission is paid.

To reward consistency and high performance, agents are eligible for additional cash bonuses:

NOTE:

Standard Commission: Agents will receive a flat 5% of the total course fee for each successful student enrollment attributed to them via their referral link or ID.

Performance Bonus (if applicable): Based on lead quality and volume over time, additional bonuses may be offered. These are discretionary and not guaranteed.
Commission Conditions:
- Paid only after 50% course progress (live sessions or LMS tracking) + full fee collection.
- Course Completion Status will be evaluated using our internal student learning management system (LMS).
- No payment on refund request, cancel request, bounced cheques, fraud cases, EMI defaulters.
- Commissions exceeding โน10,000/month are subjected to PAN verification & TDS compliance.

Commission is payable only to the first registered agent per student. No dual or disputed referrals will be entertained.

Example โ Fake Lead Scam:
Agent submits 20 fake students, 5 of them pay, then cancel. Lead generator gets โน10,000 โ All commissions frozen, blacklisted, legal warning issued.
Example โ Refund Abuse:
Student A enrols using Student B’s referral code, B gets โน1,000. Then A cancels โ Both B and A are suspended.
7.3.2
Verification Process & Legal Measures
How We Detect Fraud:
- IP/device fingerprinting to detect duplicate entries
- Phone & Aadhaar verification
- Automated course progress checks
- Payment method tracking (flag shared or stolen credentials)
Legal Framework Used:
- Section 420 IPC: Cheating and dishonesty inducing delivery of property
- Information Technology Act, 2000: Cyber Fraud and Impersonation
- Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
Penalties for Fraudulent Activity
- First Offense: 60-day suspension, all payments frozen
- Second Offense: Blacklist + โน10,000 fine
- Third Offense: FIR filed, platform access permanently revoked
Example โ Legal Action:
An agent uses bots to generate and convert 30 fake leads via prepaid wallets. Raha Technologies issues legal notice, files FIR under cybercrime laws.
7.4 Governance & Final Decision Clause
- All referrals, leads, and commission cases are subject to internal audit and verification by Raha Technologies.
- Raha Technologies holds absolute and final authority to approve, suspend, revoke, or deny any reward or commission.
- No appeal, negotiation, or exception shall be entertained once a decision is made due to a confirmed violation.
